LGBTQ Barbershop

Many people in the LGBTQ community find it hard to get their hair cut in traditional barbershop settings, and sometimes even resort to cutting their own hair. Khane Kutzwell, a black queer barber wants to change that. She wants to open a barbershop for the LGBTQ community in New York City, where queer and trans* people can feel safe, comfortable, and happy in an environment that respects and understands them.

Khane already owns her own business Camera Ready Kutz that she runs out of her apartment. Wanting to branch out into a solid storefront, she’s asking for dontations to make her dream possible.
