Meet Pam Lau.

Often working with film and digital at the same time, Pam Lau creates images that share a unique mood. What inspires you to create?

“Spending time with people who are excited about the same things you are. Being by the water.”

How do you think creative women are perceived in the industry?

“There’s an element of camaraderie. We build each other up instead of fighting and kicking our way to the top.”

How do you perceive feminism?

“It’s good that in North America we can openly talk about it. It’s not as good that we still have to talk about it.”

Where do you wish to take your art in the future?

“Space. Maybe LA.”
