bbblue: film portraits by Pam Lau

Pam Lau launched her first film photography book bbblue at Projector in early December 2015. Pam creates honest moods and moments in her photos. Flipping through bbblue you can feel the energy that each model portrays through their posture, expression and demeanour. Unique blue settings matched with blue clothing complete the genius that is bbblue. The book was designed by Sam Johnstone and comes packaged with an embroidered blue tear drop patch.

Projector was packed with supporters and loved ones alike to celebrate the launch. The space was curated with tear drop patches on the wall, blue snacks and blue objects.

“24 girls shot on 24 rolls of film, taken when I was 24 years old. It all started with a house in San Francisco.” – Pam Lau
