Listen to Keysha Freshh’s – “Boogie Flats”

Keysha Freshh (aka The Musical Architect), a Canadian rapper from Toronto just recently dropped a new track , “Boogie Flats” which is her first single off of her upcoming project “In Samadhi”; her 6th studio compilation. “Boogie Flats” is produced by the MC/producer, BriskInTheHouse, who will be producing all of “In Samadhi”.

“Boogie Flats comes from a space of appreciation for the culture, and the art form. Everything from the sneakers, to the scenery. My mission was to paint as vivid of a picture that I possible could, so that when the OG’s listen, it sparks nostalgic memories but also, when the youngin’s listen, they understand where certain things came from. For me, the song really captures a great feeling” explains Keysha.

She pays homage to artists like Rakim and added samples in the hook, with Maestro Fresh Wes who dropped the needle sample on the second part of the hook. It was Brisks’ idea for her to scratch samples in the hook, so producer Nate Smith and Nate Cut scratched the samples for her in this track and they all made the track really come together.

Overall, it’s definitely worth a listen, so let us know what you think in the comments.
