Dijah SB recently released the visual for “Skin Tone Brown” produced by Tray Jireh, directed and edited by Tony Kojo and video produced by David Kim.
“Skin Tone Brown” is the first single from her project “BLUE”and speaks on being proud of the colour of your skin. The record also touches on depression, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and drug dependence with pills.
Dijah also has a blog called WhyIsDijahBlue which connects with her new project to share her stories, inspirations, and encourages readers to share theirs as well.
The reason for “BLUE” was Dijah SB’s way to share her stories and experiences in a productive way about depression so others don’t feel alone. SB wants the stigma around depression to disappear and for those to make themselves fit into who they think they’re supposed to be and to know she’s here to listen.
If you dig this, Dijah SB’s “BLUE” is available to stream on Soundcloud.
