Merry Christmas to the Dead Saints!

2The ones who have enough nerve to go up to a church, and tell the pastor that Santa now owns Jesus’ Birthdate.

We work hard and long just to put gifts under our trees and show the kids that the ‘present’, is still a tangible thing.

But, why should that matter?

After all, wasn’t it Jesus’ Father that cursed the Earth with the gift of work in the first place?

But don’t worry, that’s just my first case.

The love for passion is quickly being misplaced in discounts and gift cards.

The biggest scam on Earth is being employed at a retail job during Christmas season; 40-75% of your cheque goes back to the people who signed it.

Dead Saints are those who traded their trademarks for a stocktrade – and we’ve all made such mistake.

Selling our souls for clothes, or selling our hope for blow. Both done to keep us high… but not steady.

When we made our mistakes, our consequences were not yet ready.

The curse of merchantability…

Everything can be sold, but not everything can be bought.

If Jesus walked right into your store, what discounts could you give him to purchase the clothes that will cover his scars on boxing day?

How low does cheap need to be, without it being free?

The gift of giving is now being scaled by the length of our receipts.

How many times can a salesperson smile “Merry Christmas” before they lose their minds listening to Christmas songs?

Now you’ll spend all of January covering your Christmas debts instead of lying to yourself about your health – well done!

The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, got us clinging tightly to this world.

So this was written for your closure, to remind you that you’re not the only one going through this.

Passion is be riddled by purchases…

Yet, there’s still seems to be room for improvement in your closet, or in their closet.

Whatever be the case, just be sure to grab a gift reciept before you leave the store in case your expression of love just happened to be the wrong size.
